Seibu 101 Series (Early Model New Paint)
6Cars Set
Information
●The first 101 series was introduced in 1969, coinciding with the opening of the Seibu Chichibu Line, as a vehicle with high power and braking performance for mountainous routes. A total of 278 cars were manufactured, and when they were introduced, they were only four-car non-air-conditioned vehicles. However, air conditioning was later installed, and some formations became six-car through formations. They were widely used on Seibu's lines except for the Seibu Yurakucho Line and Yamaguchi Line, and were a core model of Seibu Railway, operating in formations of up to 10 cars. However, they were retired in 2010 and are currently preserved at Yokose Depot.
