Introducing the 10-car 17000 series, which is active on the Yurakucho Line and Fukutoshin Line.

It appeared in 2020 to replace the aging 7000 series, and commercial operation started the following year. Although it has commonality with the 18000 series of sibling cars, it adopts a round headlight reminiscent of the 7000 series and 10000 series, and features a unique coloring.
Five companies (Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line / Fukutoshin Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line, Seibu Yurakucho Line / Ikebukuro Line, Tobu Tojo Line, Yokohama Expressway Minatomirai Line) are active in a wide range of areas.
