Kato 7014-1 Diesel Locomotive JNR DD13 late model - N Scale
JNR DD13 late model
●The DD13 was the first mass-produced shunting diesel locomotive developed by the Japanese National Railways (JNR). 416 locomotives were added over a nine-year period starting in 1958. They are roughly divided into early and late models, each with distinctive exteriors and bogies. They contributed to the smokeless modernization of marshalling yards across the country, and were primarily used for shunting in yards across the country, as well as pulling freight trains on short routes. They also pulled passenger trains on the overnight local "Hayatama" and on some routes (Suigun Line, Shimizu Port Line, Amagasaki Port Line, and Wadamisaki Line).
