The Hokuriku Railroad Group is the largest operator in the Hokuriku region, with a route network throughout Ishikawa Prefecture.
Following the group reorganization in July 2021, the group companies Komatsu Bus, Hokuriku Kotsu, Kaga Onsen Bus, and Kaga Hakusan Bus were merged and reorganized.
Komatsu Bus began as Ogoya Railroad in 1919 and changed its name to Komatsu Bus in 1977.
Hokuriku Kotsu began operating as a chartered bus operator with 22 vehicles in 2005.
Kaga Onsen Bus began operating mainly on routes in the Kaga area in 1994, and Kaga Hakusan Bus began operating in areas such as Kanazawa City, Hakusan City, Komatsu City, and Nomi City in 2012.
From July 2021, Kaga Onsen Bus and Kaga Hakusan Bus changed their names to Hokutetsu Kaga Bus and Hokutetsu Hakusan Bus, and Komatsu Bus's bus business was merged into Hokutetsu Kaga Bus, and Hokuriku Kotsu's bus business was merged into Hokutetsu Hakusan Bus.
The products will feature both the pre-merger appearance and the appearance after the new company name.
